I hate to say it, but you were right, I should have listened to you on that fateful night. You said he did not love me, That I should not be with he. You said that he treated me like trash, though your skull I wanted to bash. You claimed that I was blind, and I wondered how could you be so unkind. I asked for one reason your claims were just, though I swore that I had just cussed. Then your truth came out, and tales of love you did spout. You claimed of love everlasting, and now my head was thrashing. I yelled how could you betray me, I felt that you had played me. I thought that you, my dear friend, would've replied, so I cried as you goodbyed. I tried to shove you out of my life, but my feelings were all too trife. You were all around me my dear friend, your strong blue eyes haunted me even in my boyfriend. I thought it was all in my imagination, but then I gave it some contemplation. Were you not there for me when he was not? Did you not help me when my brain was shot? Did you not try, on that faithful nigh', to soothe a heart that was naught? Then it dawned upon me, that you were so dear to me. I left that simple man, in order to find your loving hand. So here I am with this task at hand. Soon, I was to discover, that you had found another. I had lain my love on a silver platter, and now my heart did just shatter. I personally think that "The Way" is one of the greatest pieces of Sailor Moon literature out there and everybody who loves Usagi and Mamoru (and even if you don't!) should read it.
