In this volume, Mamoru is mostly an evil guy which doesn't rate highly on my favorites lists. He does return to the normal loving Mamoru at the end though. There's not much Usagi and Mamoru scenes so you'll find this guide rather short.
Season:
First Season - Sailor Moon
Main points:
Act 10 - Moon
- The senshi travel to the moon, landing in Mare Serenitatis at Luna's request. There, they find the ruins of the Moon Kingdom. They meet Queen Serenity and learn about their past lives.
- Sailor Venus acquires a sword which she pulled out of the ground.
- Tuxedo Kamen is resurrected by Queen Beryl
Act 11 - Endymion
- Usagi sees a man who looks like Mamoru on her way to school.
- The senshi have a meeting and talk about the sword. Usagi sneaks out to the arcade and meets "Endo," a man who looks and sounds like Mamoru.
- Usagi returns to the arcade the next day. She leaves when Endo starts to make uncomfortable comments.
- Mako gets posessed by Endo. This is the catalyst of the final showdown between good and evil.
- Sailor Venus uses the sword to kill Queen Beryl.
- Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon battle each other. Sailor Moon manages to kill Tuxedo Kamen and then end her own life.
Act 12 - Reincarnation
- The senshi, excluding Sailor Moon, combine their powers to once and for all defeat the Dark Kingdom.
- Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen are revived by the Silver Crystal. Sailor Moon gathers energy to defeat the Dark Kingdom.
Usagi and Mamoru scenes:
- Usagi dreams of Mamoru but Luna wakes her up. As she's walking to school, she trips and drops the stopwatch. When she looks up, she sees a man from behind that looks very similar to Mamoru. She looks at the stopwatch (that was broken before) which is now ticking.
- Usagi sneaks off to the arcade during a senshi meeting. She meets "Endo," Motoki's best friend. Usagi is stunned because he looks and sounds exactly like Mamoru.
His eyes look weird- in an evil way. He touches Usagi's hair and tells her her hair style looks very similar to Sailor Moon's. He heard that she's very good at the Sailor V game and asks her to teach him.
- She returns to the arcade the next day. Endo watches her play the Sailor V game. He keeps making comments about the similarity between her, Sailor V and Sailor Moon. She gets nervous and says she better return home. Before she goes, he tells her to come back tomarrow. He wants to know more about her.
- Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen are one on one in a battle, Tuxedo Kamen having the advantage since he managed to steal the Silver Crystal away. Sailor Venus and the sword lies beside her on the floor. He cruelly lifts Sailor Moon up by her throat and demands to know why the Crystal wouldn't work. She lets out a blast of energy, fueled by the Crystal, sending them both flying.
- Sailor Moon senses the battle against Tuxedo Kamen is futile. She thinks to herself there's only one path left for the both of them. She grabs the sword and slashes Tuxedo Kamen asking herself if their lives were fated to always be like this. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen come face to face as Tuxedo Kamen is dying and she leans forward, kissing him deeply. Then she grasps the sword tightly in both hands and plunges it into herself.
- There are several flashbacks to the senshi's lives on the moon. There was ascene where sailor Venus caught Princess Serenity sneaking off to Earth.
The scene switches to the Prince and Princess hugging each other tightly thinking that they always want to be together. Suddenly, they're surround by destruction. They're taken back to the battle where Queen Beryl kills Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity kills herself. Queen Serenity sends them off to Earth, 1000 years into the future. A picture of Usagi and Mamoru in the present is shown. You can read Usagi's thoughts which basiclly says that she'll be reborn with him and spend their lives together.
- When the flashback ends, Sailor Moon is alive again. She sees Tuxedo Kamen on the floor and revives him with the Silver Crystal. He's the normal "good" Tuxedo Kamen but the only difference is that he's blind.
- Tuxedo Kamen lends Sailor Moon his energy to defeat the Dark Kingdom. The moon shone very brightly and he was able to see that meaning his vision was recovered.
