Main points:

• Usagi meets Luna on the way to school one day.
• After school, Usagi meets Mamoru in front of OSAP, Naru's store
• Luna jumps into Usagi's bedroom at night and tells her she's Sailor Moon and sends her off to battle a youma at OSAP
• Tuxedo Kamen shows up and helps her.

• Ami arrives at Usagi's school. Rumors fly about her being a genius.
• Usagi meets Ami personally when Luna jumps on her in the middle of the street.
• They go to the Crown Arcade to play video games. Ami gets the highest score and wins a pen. Usagi bangs on the machine because she wants one and another pen pops out. (Later, these turn out to be Ami's henshin stick and Usagi's disguise pen.)
• Youma appear at Ami's cram school. Ami is attacked and Luna tell hers to use the pen she won at the arcade. Sailor Moon appears and saves the day.

• News was that evil was at the Hikawa Shrine so Usagi and Luna check it out.
• At the shrine, Usagi is attacked by two crows. Rei appears and sticks an "Evil Begone" scroll on her. Usagi faints. When Usagi comes to, Rei explains that she was just trying to get rid of the evil around the shrine.
• The next day, Usagi goes back to the shrine. On the bus, she meets Mamoru. At the shrine, she and Rei talk for awhile and she heads on home.
• The bus was being sucked up into a void with Usagi and Rei on board. Rei was trying to fight the youma and the Mars sign appeared on her forehead. Luna gives her a henshin stick and she becomes Sailor Mars.
• Sailor Mars kills Jedite.

• The senshi goes to Princess Diamond's ball to search for the Silver Crystal.
• The senshi battle a youma who was trying to steal the diamond.
• Tuxedo Kamen gives Usagi her first kiss.
• Luna questions Mamoru about his motives.

• Usagi walks to school in the morning and is saved from being runned over a car by a tall, strong girl.
• Usagi finds out that the girl is new at her school and her name is Kino Makoto. Rumors are going around about her checkered past.
• Usagi befriends her at lunchtime.
• Mako is approached by a posessed Motoki and the senshi appear. Enraged that she has been tricked, she throws the youma in the air. The Jupiter sign appears on her forehead. Luna gives her a henshin stick and she transforms into Sailor Jupiter.
• Sailor Jupiter kills Neflite with her new thunder power.
• Luna gives Usagi the Moon Wand.

Usagi and Mamoru scenes:

• In front of OSAP, Usagi balls up her 30% test paper- right into Mamouru's face. He calls to her using "Lumphead" as a name and she gets mad. He looks at her test paper and tells her to work harder. She tells him to mind his own business and walks away in a huff. As she looks back, she wonders why he's wearing a tuxedo in broad daylight.

  Meanwhile, he looks at the jewelry store. He thinks that it's a small store but maybe it will have the Silver Crystal.

• Usagi crumples up a flyer for a cram school and throws it over her shoulder. Predictably, it lands right in Mamoru's face. He gets mad and tells her he's not a garbage can. With embarassment, she recognizes him from last time. He tilts his head and asks her if her cat (Luna, who's on her shoulder) was just talking. She goes nervously denies it vehemently and runs off. He stares after as she departs.

• In the middle of battle, Sailor Moon jumps up and kicks the youma. Tuxedo Kamen catches her as she comes down and they come face to face. He sets her back down on the ground and her legs are wobbly.

• Usagi and Luna are on the bus talking about the enemy and all of a sudden. Luna won't talk at all. Usagi freaks out and starts shaking Luna telling her to talk. All of a sudden, a voice next to her says: "Yes Luna, talk." She turns and sees Mamoru sitting beside her wearing wire-rimmed glasses. She questions why he's there and he says he always takes the bus to school and he flashes out his student ID. It states that he's Chiba Mamoru and in his second year of high school at Moto Azabu.

  Mamoru takes off his glasses and Usagi thinks that he looks very similar to Tuxedo Kamen. She asks herself why her hearts beating so fast. A profile of Usagi is shown next to a profile of Sailor Moon. Mamoru softly whisperes: "The soldier of justice... " Usagi hears this and gasps in alarm. Mamoru realizes his blunder and quickly says: "Nothing!" The bus arrives at Hikawa Shrine and Usagi gets off. Mamoru stares after her.

• Usagi, dressed up beautifully, is at Princess Diamond's ball. Somebody accidently spills their drink on her dress so she heads toward the washroom. As she hurries away, she accidently drops her hankerchief. Mamoru picks it up and read the embroidery: "Year 2, Class 1, Tsukino Usagi." Usagi returns to the ballroom but she can't find her friends. She starts to be bored and sad so Mamoru, with a domino mask on, sweeps her into his arms and dances with her. She's in heaven until Luna calls to her and she turns her head, When she turns back, Mamoru is gone.

• Usagi is struggling with Princess Diamond on her balcony and gets thrown over. Tuxedo Kamen catches her in time but they're both hanging perilously over the edge. Luna throws Usagi her disguise pen and she turns it into an umbrella. Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen float through the night sky, landing safely on the ground. He thanks her for saving him that time and runs off into the night.

• Sailor Moon gets a bit tipsy after drinking some "juice" at the party. She faints right into Tuxedo Kamen's arms so he brings her out to the balcony. He kisses her and thinks that this seems so familiar. Luna interrupts him and asks him if he's a friend or foe. He says since they both want the same thing, he must be their foe.

• Motoki gets posessed and seduces Makoto. Mamoru sees this and know something fishy is going on. He appears as Tuxedo Kamen on Usagi's windowsill and leads her to Motoki and Makoto.
